Visa Inc (V) Beats Earnings Expectations, But Misses Revenue Estimates

Visa Inc (NYSE:V) released its earnings report for the three months through March on Thursday afternoon in the wake of the bell's toll on Wall Street. The company showed earnings of $2.20 (ex-items) per share for the three months. Revenue for the quarter, which Visa records as its second of fiscal 2014, came in at $3.16 billion. On today's market shares in the credit card company trended upward and finished the day trading at $209.40.
