Americans Uncomfortable With How Their Personal Data Is Collected And UsedMark Melin
Americans are increasingly becoming concerned about their privacy, notes a new study from Pew Research, and they want government to protect them.
American's concerned about government's privacy invasion
The study found that fully 80 percent of adults “agree” or “strongly agree” that Americans should be concerned about the government’s monitoring of phone calls and internet communications, while just 18 percent “disagree” or “strongly disagree” with that statement. Only 36 percent believed it was a good thing “that someone is keeping an eye on things they do online.”
