Jason Karp was an early bloomer in the investment industry. Four years after leaving college in 2002 he was managing his own portfolio at George Weiss Associates. in 2005 he joined SAC Capital and in 2009 he joined Carlson Capital as a co-portfolio manager with company founder Clint Carlson. He struck out on his own during 2012 at 35, forming Tourbillon Capital Partners, which manages around $4 billion for clients today.
