2015 was a significant year for Balyasny Asset Management (BAM). From a business perspective, the hedge fund was said to have benefited when Steven A. Cohen rolled SAC Advisors into Point72 Asset Management and withdrawing from managing outside money. Many of the investors fled to BAM, known as a leading noncorrelated hedge fund that really hedges, and their assets under management swelled to near $29 billion.
