This morning’s pre-market futures rise in value was odd from a certain perspective. Markets in Europe were “subdued” Monday, a research report from Barclays notes. In such an environment why were futures higher on the U.S. pre-market? There may not be an exacting answer, but asking the question amid morning concerns points to issues on top of mind in London as the U.S. was rolling out of bed.
