Institutional Investors buy bank stocks into rally Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s weekly fund manager survey is a great sentiment indicator of institutional investors. This week’s survey, which was conducted during the period 2 December to 8 December, quizzed a total of 211 panelists with $568 billion of assets under management. Throughout 2016, the survey revealed that institutional investors were cautious on global growth and at some points in the year had elevated cash allocations.
