In an interview to appear tonight on FOX Business Network’s (FBN) CAVUTO (8PM/ET), billionaire investor Carl Icahn speaks with anchor Neil Cavuto about the potential of Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL)’s software business. Icahn discusses Dell, saying, “In the future, I think that the software business will increase dramatically in its value.” Icahn goes on to say that Dell’s PC business has “a great deal of value to Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), to an Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), to a possible merger with Hewlett-Packard’s PC business, or Lenovo’s PC business.” Below we have a short preview of what Carl Icahn will be saying tonight.

Excerpts from the interview with Carl Icahn are below.

On the potential of Dell’s software business:

“In the future, I think that the software business will increase dramatically in its value. The PC business, which everybody doesn’t like, and perhaps rightly so, still has a great deal of value to Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), to an Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), to a possible merger with Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ)’s PC business, or Lenovo Group Limited (ADR) (PINK:LNVGY)’s PC business.”
