Carlson Capital’s Black Diamond Thematic, L.P. finished the first quarter of 2015 down -1.46% net, underperforming the fund’s benchmark. The fund suffered a similar underperformance during the first quarter of 2014 but due to a well-timed bet on oil, the fund’s performance improved significantly during the second half of the year.
