Carl Icahn is not having a good year. As we reported earlier this month, almost all of Carl Icahn’s personal holdings, and those of Icahn Enterprises LP have underperformed the market. Excluding dividends, year-to-date Icahn Enterprises LP (NASDAQ: IEP) LP is down 29.5%. However, Icahn received some good news today. Cheniere Energy Inc., the liquefied natural gas company, in which Icahn reported an 8.2% stake in earlier this month, has named two Icahn Capital LP managing directors to its board.
