Earlier this week the Japanese premier ‘s ruling Liberal Democratic Party-led coalition secured a two-thirds parliamentary “super majority” reinforcing his position at the head of the country and allowing him to doubled down on his economic reforms which have been dubbed “Abenomics” , but a big consumption tax hike may be right ahead.
