Corsair Capital Slumps 19.8% On SPAC Losses [Exclusive]

Corsair Capital lost 11.7% during the second quarter of 2022, bringing its year-to-date loss to 19.8% net, according to a copy of the firm’s half-year report, which ValueWalk has reviewed. Meanwhile, the Corsair Select fund lost 20.9% net in the second quarter and 36.9% in the first half overall. In comparison, for the year to the end of June, the HFRI Equity Hedge (Total) Index declined -by 12.3% net, the S&P 500 lost -20%, and the Russell 2000 fell -23.4%.
