Michael Stark’s San Francisco investment firm Crosslink Capital runs and unusual hedge fund hybrid model. The fund manager seeks profits across the spectrum of growth companies from start-ups to mature companies blurring the line between private equity and hedge fund manager. Initially, Crosslink started as a venture capital fund and then, to meet the additional demand plus take advantage of growth companies already listed on equity markets, Stark started a Crosslink hedge fund.
