Donald Yacktman is the president of Yacktman Asset Management Co., and the co-manager of the Yacktman Fund and the Yacktman Focused Fund. Donald started the firm in 1992 after nearly 10 years as portfolio manager of the Selected American Shares Mutual Fund. In 1991, Yacktman was named the Portfolio Manager of the Year by Morningstar, due to the fund’s stellar performance. Yacktman has been a PM at Stein Roe & Farnham since 1968.
