Electron Global Fund Adds 5% In Q2, Buys Owns Ford As EV Play

The Electron Global Fund, returned 5% in the second quarter of 2021, bringing its year-to-date return to 10.3%. According to a copy of the firm’s second-quarter letter to investors, which ValueWalk has been able to review since inception, the fund has returned 11.6% annualized compared to its benchmark return, the MSCI World Utilities Index of 2.6%. Year-to-date, the benchmark has returned -1.6%. Electron manages $2.5 billion for clients. The firm’s managing partner is Jos Shaver, who is also the portfolio manager of the Global Fund.
