The smart beta rush continues. Goldman Sachs has announced today that its asset management arm, Goldman Sachs Asset Management has launched its first exchange-traded fund, the ActiveBeta® US Large Cap Equity ETF — ActiveBeta® is now a trademark of Goldman Sachs. ActiveBeta® is the latest product to emerge in the development of smart beta products, which try to beat the market cheaply by using more sophisticated indices.
