Days after staring down a ransom request from computer hackers, Feedly is subject to a third day of distributed denial of service request attacks. Feedly denied paying “protection money” to hackers The Feedly story is a modern day version of the old mafia version of the corner store shakedown. Feedly was requested to provide protection money to ensure a preverbal fire didn’t somehow ignite by “accident.” Feedly said no and “no means no.” What is occurring now is the public violation of Feedly by a bully that wouldn’t take no for an answer.
