Hawk Ridge Adds 9.5% In 2021, Records 13th Year Of Positive Returns

Hawk Ridge Management generated a net return of 9.5% in 2021, according to a copy of the firm’s year-end letter, which ValueWalk has been able to review. While the letter points out that this was the firm’s 13th consecutive year of generating a positive absolute investment return, the fund underperformed its peer group during 2021. The HFRI Equity Hedge Total Index returned 12% last year. Since its inception in October 2005, the fund has returned 12.7% net of fees for its investors.
