Hayman Capital founder Kyle Bass sits in his Dallas, TX office and waits. He is expecting to be served court documents which will likely trigger a discovery request deep into the workings of United Development Fund (UDF), an investment trust that recently sued Bass and Hayman Capital. But those papers have not arrived as of Monday afternoon, a hedge fund source told ValueWalk. But the real questions center around the legitimacy of UDF’s claims.
