Institutional investors are changing their allocation strategies, a study from Quinnipiac University School of Business Alternative Investment Institute published by the Connecticut Hedge Fund Association indicates.  In the wake of the CalPERS decision to exit hedge funds, as anecdotal news continues to pour in that institutional investors are reducing their allocations to hedge funds, exemplified by a Pensions & Investments article on the San Francisco City and Country reducing their allocations towards such investments, the study found the opposite to be true.
