And he co hosts the focus compounding podcast with Andrew who just started writing and podcasting about value investing in 2005. And I want to welcome all the listeners to a very special episode.

Welcome to ValueTalks with Raul.

So just wanted to welcome all our listeners to a very special episode. I have Jeff kin, the CO hosts of the focus compounding podcasts. And Jeff, welcome to the show.

Thanks for having me on.

All right. Yeah, if you can just tell me about your background, and what led you to finance and investing?

Sure. So I got started investing when I was a teenager, I was saving some money around age 14 or so. And I would talk stocks with my dad. And he mentioned a book that had come out recently or was going to come out. That was like a rerelease of a book that Ben Graham had written. And because he had heard what I said about stocks and kind of found a little like, what he had read in this magazine article about Ben Graham. So because of that, I read security analysis and the Intelligent Investor and things like that when I was a teenager. And so then I started writing about stocks doing a podcast, things like that, probably when I was 19 or so I dropped out of college, and immediately started like, blogging and, and doing a podcast and things like that, which was pretty early in that kind of thing. It was probably 2005 I guess. So podcasts and things like that were less common. And then since that freelance writing, cool focus a lot of article.
