If you’re going to try and fly, make sure your wings are working. A Michigan man illegally BASE jumping off a television tower fell to his death when his parachute did not open, Reuters is reporting. Michigan BASE jumper’s parachute fails to open Detroit resident Josh Sheppard, 31, had attempted to base jump 1,000 feet to the bottom of the WLAJ-TV tower in Jackson County, MI, an area just west of the city at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, Michigan State Police Sergeant Kevin Caldwell was quoted as saying. The jump off the tower, surrounded by wired fencing and “no trespassing” signs, remains under investigation….
