The billionaire investor and founder of Oaktree Capital, Howard Marks, took a series of questions at this year’s Sohn San Francisco Investment Conference.
Marks is a Wall Street legend. He founded Oaktree in 1995 after spending ten years working at The TCW Group, Inc, where he was responsible for distressed debt investing.
Before that, he worked at Citicorp Investment Management for 16 years, where he was Vice President and senior portfolio manager in charge of convertible and high yield securities.
