Activist hedge fund, Raging Capital Management, managed by William C Martin, lost -6.5% net of all fees and expenses during the fourth quarter. For the year ended December 31, 2015, the fund had a net loss of -10.6%, according to a letter to investors reviewed by ValueWalk. By comparison, the S&P 500 Total Return Index gained 7.0% during the fourth quarter, and the HFR Hedge Fund Index increased 0.8%.
