Rare John Templeton Interview From The Mid-1980s

Sir John Templeton was one of the greatest value investors of the 20th century.  Born in November 1912, Templeton’s investment career started during the depression of the 1930s. As the story goes, the young investor bought 100 shares at each NYSE listed share trading for less than $1 at the beginning of the decade using borrowed money.  By the end of World War II, this portfolio of 104 companies was up 400% even though 34 of the businesses had collapsed.
