SEC Nabs Hackers Trading On Non Public News Releases

A scheme to hack into the news release deliver services and trade on non-public information before the news hit the wire has been settled by the Securities and Exchange Commission. International hackers shared information with both US and foreign traders The SEC obtained settlement offers from Ukrainian-based Jaspen Capital Partners Limited and its principal Andriy Supranonok in a case involving 34 defendants.
