Rima Senvest Management’s Senvest Partners Fund grabbed a 3.7% return in August, bringing up the total return for the year to 8.4%. The Canada-based hedge fund had a tough July, falling 5.4%, but it was able to gain back some of those losses in the last month. Senvest’s YTD return is just shy of the S&P 500’s 9.9% gain over the same period. The value-oriented hedge fund is headed by Richard Mashaal and Brian Gonick.
