The Talas Turkey Value Fund returned 29.3% net to investors for the year to the end of December 2020, that’s compared to a loss of -8.6% for the MSCI Turkey Index, according to a copy of the fund’s investment report ValueWalk has been able to review.

The Talas fund is run out of Austin, Texas by Mesut Ellialtioglu, who is called “the world’s greatest Turkish equity analyst” by Matt Peterson of Peterson Capital Management.

The Talas Turkey Value Fund has produced a cumulative return of 7.8% net since its inception in June 2017, compared to a total loss of -34.4% for the MSCI Turkey.
