Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son $100 Billion Vision Fund already invested $70 billion of its money. SoftBank’s Vision Fund was founded in 2016. In September 2016 Masayoshi Son convinced back then Saudi Arabia´s deputy crown prince to invest in technology. The Vision Fund’s largest investor is Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. The Vision Fund owns around 70 startups, such as WeWork, a property company, and Slack, a workplace-messaging app. Other names such as Uber, where owns a 16.3 percent stake, Grab, Ola, Didi, Doordash are within the company portfolio.
