Although the retail industry, especially shopping malls, has been going through a tough patch, one fund sees opportunity. Despite the record number of store closings announced for the first six months of the year, mall real estate investment trusts have seen a sudden surge in leasing. According to Chilton Capital, e-commerce is no real threat to brick-and-mortar retailers.
