Now the latest statistics seem to show that even the banking sector is showing signs of recovery. The three domestic banks have ended 2013 in a much-improved position than 12 months ago. Ironically, it's beginning to appear that one of the biggest impediments to further progress could be the regulating influence of the European Central Bank.
