Homecomb Returns 186% Buying The Future And Shorting The PastRupert Hargreaves
Honeycomb Asset Management describes its mission as, "to invest in the future, while shorting the past."
This strategy has worked exceptionally well so far.
Since its inception in July 2016, the firm's flagship fund has returned 186% gross and 138% net, according to a copy of its July investor update, which ValueWalk has been able to review. It has achieved this return with an annualized volatility of 12.2% and a Sharpe ratio of 1.5.
The strategy was up 9% gross and 7.2% net for the year to the end of July.
