Which President Has been the Worst for Homeownership? Hint: You'll Probably Get Second Worst Wrong

Earlier this week, the U.S. Census Bureau released their quarterly accounting of the homeownership rate in the United States.

The numbers in the following graphic for 1965 to 2015.

If you're a watcher of the U.S. housing market, it came as no surprise that the homeownership rate declined again, reaching a 25-year low of 63.7%.

Overall, as indicated, since 1965 there's been two major business cycles associated with homeownership.
