Sony announced this morning that they will permanently cut the price tag of their PlayStation 4 game systems by $50 in the US. The PlayStation 4 will now have the same price as Microsoft Corporation’s Xbox One system at $349.99. In addition to the US, Sony also cut PS4 prices in Canada from $449.99 to $429.99. The North American price cut was widely rumored after Sony cut PS4 prices in Japan during August.
