Brook Asset Management’s Continental European Fund was down 7.2% for the second quarter, bringing its year-to-date return to -3%. Most of that second-quarter loss came in June when the fund posted a return of -10.8%. The Brook fund returned -3.4% for April and 7.7% for May. However, it is outperforming its benchmark, as the MSCI Daily Total Return Net Europe Ex U.K. was down 8.68% in sterling terms for the quarter, bringing its year-to-date return to -15.4%.
