Carol Loomis has four silver bracelets — three have 10 charms on them, and the fourth, has nine. The charms are all miniature covers of the annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholder reports, and are a gift from her good friend Warren Buffett.

Buffett is the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, and retired Fortune Magazine senior editor-at-large Carol Loomis, is his editor.

Loomis was introduced to him by her husband, John Loomis, a securities salesman who read about Buffett in 1967. “He wrote Warren a letter and said I am going to be there on Monday, would you be okay if I came to see you, and to my amazement, Warren said ‘Yes.’ ”
